ESPN’s Online Video Presence Grows Toward its Broadcast Dominance
ESPN’s status as TV’s largest sports broadcast rights-holder in the U.S. hasn’t been in question for decades. But in the social video space, the network is not as dominant — though that’s changing, according to Tubular’s April sports leaderboard. In the last 12 months, ESPN’s risen two spots to fourth overall across social platforms, and is closing in on third among U.S. sports creators. Newcomer Wave is another big mover, up 10 spots year-over-year.
